Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth

Have you ever caught yourself saying “Life doesn’t come with an instruction manual!”? Or “I don’t know what to do.” Or even “What is the true meaning of life?” There is one source for all the answers you need. Life lessons lived out before us thousands of years ago that have the biggest critic fan base on the planet. A book that people sometimes die for because they believe what it says, and are also often shunned and cast out for living by it.

The Bible is a book about a part of our history, as humanity, that lines up with the meaning of God’s creation, and the battles against He who made everything. He never made a mistake and has tried to help humanity be what He intended us to be. Unfortunately, we decimated God’s original plan (Genesis 3:1–24) so much in fact that it “repenteth (Him) that (He) have made them.” (Genesis 6:7). That one decision caused us to reap what we had sewn. Due to our self-interests and the want to live for what we want in this short life, we now have to live our lives as men, working until we die. As for women, they have been given pain when they bare children. (Genesis 3). The Bible also shows us how to live in perfect harmony with God as He first intended through stories of people God chose because he knew their hearts and knew, He could trust them to effectuate his will.

I know how challenging it is to believe a book that sounds like a bunch of fairy tales. Especially when it sounds like things you would hear out of a science fiction novel. Things like angels descending from heaven and making wives of whomsoever they chose because they found the human women beautiful. Because of this, a whole new race was formed. “There were giants in the earth in those days; and also, after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.”(Genesis 6:4) The whole thing sounds ludicrous until you read more about it and study the history that science has revealed recently through archeological discoveries (more on this in future posts).

The Bible is nothing but the truth, and can and does, prove itself through literally everything. The fact that they spoke about Jupiter before the first telescopes were supposedly invented. Acts 14:12 “And they called Barnabas, Jupiter; and Paul, Mercurius, because he was the chief speaker.”

Not only does the Bible tell stories of history but also about stories of His love for people who follow and love Him. For example, His love for Moses and His people, who were slaves for years, and God freed them from Pharoah’s hand and made them a great nation; The journey through which the Ten Commandments were given. Another great example of this is through the story of Shadrach, Meshach, And Abed-nego in the book of Daniel. (A short twelve-chapter book with excellent inspiration)

This is just a glimpse of everything the Bible has to deliver, and no one will ever be able to understand every hidden secret the book has to offer in this lifetime. We will reveal more of what the Bible says, its meanings, and the lessons it holds in future posts.

Thank you for reading and I hope to see you next time. God bless everyone. Amen.
